Bob Strauss died yesterday at the age of 95.  I crossed paths with him a couple of times relative to Senator Kennedy in the 70’s.  Even though he was a big shot, and nearly thirty years older than moi, he treated me with the courtesy and respect of an equal.  He was a class act.

Someone forwarded me an email on getting old yesterday.  Part of it said, “It’s Not What You Gather, But What You Scatter That Tells What Kind Of Life You Have Lived.”  I’ll leave it at that.
